Week8-10 Modify and advance

First attempt at visual design
The idea is to continue the thought process from the paper, using L as the foundation and extracting the part of L from F to represent imitation, while the horizontal lines of F represent new parts, using the origin to represent creation.
I wanted to use a concrete graphic to represent creation, and the shape of a jigsaw puzzle came to mind. And I want to go beyond L and F and combine T with graphics.
This idea is based on the prescribed stroke order when learning to write, but I feel that as a creator, I can overturn this order. After discussion, this draft was used to advance the project.
This idea was something I brought to the tutorial; combining a T-shaped puzzle piece with three sides that could be joined together was intended to express creativity. I chose blue and yellow for contrast, hoping to use color to represent the difference between imitation and creation. However, after discussion, the idea was deemed too old.

Logo design revised and completed

The strokes of the letters can be broken down into four main categories: horizontal, vertical, left-falling, and curved. Use arrows to combine with L, F, and 26.

I want arrows to form a poster that spells out "Letter Fest," but audience participation is required

Potential Speakers & Sponsors
The invited speakers are independent graphic designers whose typographic practices challenge convention.
Their works move beyond rigid systems, exploring how type can break rules yet still coexist harmoniously with image, space, and emotion.
Each of them embodies a different way of redefining what typography can express.

Casetify promotes a culture of self-expression through technology, turning phone cases into fashion statements for a socially active, design-aware generation.
Its customizable series allows individuals to make each product uniquely their own.
Aesop, by contrast, embodies restraint and individuality — rejecting celebrity culture and embracing architectural collaboration.
Its minimalist packaging and literary tone express emotion within order.Together, both brands reflect the dialogue between discipline and freedom — the essence of Breaking the Lines.

Visual advertising

Initial brand promotion review:The poster's format is interesting, but the hierarchy is a bit unclear and somewhat chaotic.
Need to consider whether the smaller numbers are necessary or if the font size could be reduced. Is the logo on the poster too large?
All other visual elements need to be consistent. The first 5 seconds of the video are too repetitive, and the font needs to be consistent throughout.
