Concept:I collect all quotation marks from magazines to explore how voices, citations, and narratives are visually embedded in printed media.
Method: Manually extract quotation marks, with each pair representing one "speech".
Rearrange the quotation marks by enlarging, rotating, and cropping, repeating the process to form a new shape.
Following the tutorial on making zine, first paste the content onto a folded A4 sheet of paper with eight squares. Pay attention to the order of the content in this step as well.
Scan the completed collage in monochrome. I experimented with pink and yellow.
Then fold it by making two cuts in the middle.

By isolating these small punctuation marks, I shifted focus from content to the structures that frame voice and dialogue in print.
The zine functions as a minimal archive, capturing traces of speech while removing context, and in doing so, explores how meaning can be reshaped through collection.
